Another Year Older

Alhamdulillah...
Dear Fariz...

Happy 18th Birthday!!!!

You know what I'm gonna say now but bear with me...
I know you've been through a lot of things...
Ups and downs, thicks and thins, and most surprisingly you still survived!!
This day is basically just to note another year of your colourfull life...
So enjoy your life, live life to the fullest, and be thankful for what you have by your side now...
Even you're not the richest man in the world, or not the most famous or most handsome guy on the earth..
You still have your family besides your gurl who loves you, your friends who care about you and God who always guide you and hopefully always bless you too... amiinn

Yours sincerely,
Me

Waste of Time

"It's Just Waste Of Time"

That's my friend's opinion on gaming and I won't be surprised if many other people think that way. Playing video games has always been a bad wrap from being an unhealthy addiction to a primary cause of violence. But through the seemly typical lifeless gamer glued affront of his plasma television, there's an exchange of knowledge from the game to the gamerzz. One cannot observe this phenomenon, but only experience it. I don't call myself as a pro gamer(maybe, that would be an insult to real gamerzz anyway) but I'm lucky enough to be brought up with humble gaming interests. For me here's are some reasons why gaming is more than just for entertainment or make time pass by

1. Gaming Improves Hand-Eye Coordination

hand-eye coordinations

I hope u guys understand what i means by the hand-eye coordinations, since its just a simple words and its hard for me to explain because i'm the one who felt it. If you don't know how I came up with that then please. Hold these buttons on your keyboard ALT and F4. Thank you for your understanding.

2. We're Better Prepared For The Apocalypse

zombie

Zombie apocalypse, alien apocalypse, natural apocalypse, or what so ever. Let's pick zombie apocalypse for the sake of simplicity to prove my point. What do you think when you hear the word apocalypse? Chaos? Car alarms going-off and explosions? People running and screaming around the streets? Yes, yes, and sometimes painfully yes. We see this too often in movies but it will become reality just like in the movie 2012. We cant deny those things will happen. That's why we have games apocalypse-simulator like Left4dead, which will prepare you for that horrifying day. On that day, when many people are going crazy and stupid, I will close my eyes for a minute and reflect on the experiences and life-saving tips I've learned through playing Left4dead. A med-kit and pain-killer pills, check. Good chemistry among the 4-person squad, check. Auto-shotgun and dual pistols, check. Ready to survive and kick ass, check. "It just waste a lot of time"? Your life will soon be wasted as food for the zombies if you not prepared. hahaha....

3. Gaming Provides Us 50% Of Our Daily Learning Intake

roller-coaster tycoon

I've tried this game after my bro promote it to me and the true story: I've learned the basic concept of economics through Rollercoaster Tycoon without even knowing the terms for it. The game put you in charge own rollercoaster theme park from setting ride prices to hiring staffs. I learned how everything works; how to achieve near optimal revenue, concept of supply and demand and good placement to effectively utilize assets. It's also true that "it's just a waste of time"?? friend is retarded in microeconomics. I wonder why. Maybe you guys should try Zoo Tycoon also, only the different is you just need to handle with those animals. But its really test your patience with those animal's behavior.

4. Emotional Intelligence

This doesn't only depend to gaming but gaming does involve a lot of emotional control. Online gaming can be stressful because its home to trolls(griefers, asshats, what so ever you want to call them) who feeds off of other player's anger. One moment your team is winning, but the next moment your team ultimately loses because a troll joined your team and decides to do something counterproductive. Sometimes trolls do get to some people who just want to game after a day of hard work. But it's a 24/7 fucking job to keep them from ruining your gaming experience. Props to people who can just walk away from trolls because it's harder than pushing hate back, but for people who unintentionally feed the troll are pure comedy material. hehe..

unemployment benefits

When you're looking for work, it's easy to forget that having a job isn't always all its cracked up to be. On Recessionwire, a formerly unemployed writer recently posted a list of all the things she misses about her breach from the workforce.

The list is meant to be sort of tongue and cheek, with some benefits more important than others:

1. Eating Healthy

Busy working people don't always make the time to go grocery shopping and cook their own meals, but this is easier to do when unemployed. Besides, the author said she benefited from fewer stress-induced cravings and trips to the office vending machine.

For me, I feel like being unemployed could have a positive or negative effect on your diet, depending on your personality and circumstances. Some unemployed people are probably more stressed than they were employed, thus craving unhealthy foods. Besides, fast food can be very affordable, which is appealing when your income is cut to zero..

2. Exercising

Having the chance to go to the gym is often another luxury of the unemployed. Besides, trying to save money on gas or even Subway passes encourages walking and biking wherever you go..

3. Naps

Who can argue with that? Everyone loves this..

4. Meeting up with old friends

Trying to pencil everyone in around a 40-hour work week can be very trying, but your calendar really opens up without a job to weigh you down. Easy for you to go hang out anytime you liked..

5. Browsing NSFW content online

It's always awkward when, whatever you're reading, you come across something NSFW (not safe for work) that you really hope nobody behind you saw. I would even add that it's nice not to feel nervous checking your email or Messenger chat every once in a while..

6. Exploring your options

When you're looking for a job, you not only have different career options to choose from, but different life options as well. You can go back to school, paint a masterpiece, brainstorm business ventures, and more..

Have you noticed any benefits to unemployment? so, what do you think of this list?

What Makes you Special?

"Walking the path of heaven, the man who will rule everything"

I believe we all wonder what makes us special. From the moment we are old enough to understand the concept of uniqueness, I think we all want to know what actually makes us stand out amongst all the rest of people. From there on, we want to ensure that we remain distinctive in one-way or another. For some people it means becoming the best in their field and will be remembered by next generations. For others, who do not focus on their own individuality so much as they try to fit the standard life but will still try to have some aspect of their life or personality which is truly theirs have.

I have learned that we can make ourselves special by what we do, how we live and the way in which we interact with the rest of people around us. We doesnt need to try very hard to be different because it comes naturally, however many will fight the uniqueness in order to fit in group, to belong or be accepted by others. It is very sad when some people have the specialities try to hide their special personalities so it will not be judged as out of their ordinary.

For those people who enjoy themselves, accepting who they are and whatever qualities and faults they might have which allow their own special personalities and skills to show how different we are from one another people. It is not that we cannot learn or do the same things as other people but we should not be missed along the way.

I hope it is the will to be who we are, the desire to find out all we can be and the strength to follow our dreams when the path is but a bubble of a thought at the back of our mind.

Label your Relationships

Everyone I talk to labels their romantic relationships. People in this generation judge their relationship based on a Facebook relationship status confirmation. When I got back with my girl, after a  month separation, I still get friends asking me the same question over and over. Haha...

The A: "Now are you going to change you FB status?"
Me: "Why would I do that?"
The A: "Oh.. well.. so everyone knows you are together!"

Facebook's Profile Information

My question is why does it matter? Can't two people be together without having a label for their relationship? Does they really need to plaster their relationship all over the internet and tell about it to everyone who will listen to feel secure? I don't think having your Facebook status information: In a Relationship with ______ will make the person more faithful. Can't you just be with someone with out everyone and their half-cousin talking about it? But I've did the same things t0o..hehe...

So, What is your opinion???

world’s first sex robot wants to hold hands

this topic quite attract me on the news in the star online this morning. So, i would like to share with you guys what is it actually..

freshly taken on 6.23am this morning on the star online under the technology news..

In Las Vegas,

Hines, founder of True Companion, poses with a life-size rubber doll named Roxxxy during the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas

A New Jersey company says it has developed “the world’s first sex robot,” a life-size rubber doll that’s designed to engage the owner with conversation rather than lifelike movement.

At a demonstration at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas on Saturday, the dark-haired, negligee-clad robot said “I love holding hands with you” when it sensed that its creator touched its hand.

Another action, this one unprintable, elicited a different vocal response from Roxxxy the robot.

The level of sophistication demonstrated was not beyond that of a child’s talking toy, but Roxxxy has a lot more brains than that, there’s a laptop connected to cables coming out of its back.

It has touch sensors at strategic locations and can sense when it’s being moved. But it can’t move on its own, not even to turn its head or move its lips. The sound comes out of an internal loudspeaker.

Douglas Hines, founder of Lincoln Park, New Jersey-based True Companion LLC, said Roxxxy can carry on simple conversations. The real aim, he said, is to make the doll someone the owner can talk to and relate to.

“Sex only goes so far, then you want to be able to talk to the person,” Hines said.

The phrases that were demonstrated were pre-recorded, but the robot will also be able to synthesise phrases out of pre-recorded words and sounds, Hines said.

This part quite attract me,

Man U, too

The laptop will receive updates over the Internet to expand the robot’s capabilities and vocabulary. Since Hines is a soccer fan, it can already discuss Manchester United, he said. It snores, too.

Owners will also be able to select different personalities for Roxxxy, from “Wild Wendy” to “Frigid Farrah,” Hines said. He’s charging somewhere from US$7,000 to US$9,000 (RM24,000 to RM31,000) for the robot, including the laptop, and expects to start shipping in a few months.

A Japanese company, Honey Dolls, makes life-size sex dolls that can play recorded sounds, but Roxxxy’s sensors and speech capabilities appear to be more sophisticated. Hines’ goals are certainly more far-reaching.

An engineer, Hines said he was inspired to create the robot after a friend died in the Sept 11, 2001, terror attacks. That got him thinking about preserving his friend’s personality, to give his children a chance to interact with him as they’re growing up.

Major hurdles

Looking around for commercial applications for artificial personalities, he initially thought he might create a home healthcare aide for the elderly.

“But there was tremendous regulatory and bureaucratic paperwork to get through. We were stuck,” Hines said. “So I looked at other markets.”

The broader goal of the company is still to take artificial personalities into the mainstream, beyond sex toys, Hines said.

“The sex robot thing is marketing, it’s really about making a companion,” he said.

In a 2007 book, Love and Sex with Robots, British chess player and artificial intelligence expert David Levy argues that robots will become significant sexual partners for humans, answering needs that other people are unable or unwilling to satisfy

movie poster!

finally..i finally did the sci fi text effect and space background...
i did it about 2 hour. took to much time to do that, because not really pro yet in photoshop. so just  want to share what i've done this afternoon.

firstly i do the sci-fi text effect since i interested from what i seen in many movie posters, such as Transformers, 2012, Star Wars and Avatar. Those made me interested to try. So, this morning i made s0me research on the internet to find out how to do that. Then, luckily i found it. I read and watch some video tutorial on how to do it. Then, this afternoon i manage to do it. Actually, to do the text effect, i just need to use Smudge Tool which also we can use the Brush Tool. But, i found it more easy to use the Smudge Tool in doing those effects. I dont kn0w what text should i wrote. So, i just took my blog's name psychosocial.

the psychosocial

after that, i do the space background. This actually took me a lot of time to do since i never did this before. First of all i choose black colour as the background since the space is black, haha. Then, i make new layer and add vector mask which i've filter by render and choose Clouds. After that, i apply the layer style on it which is the outer glow with puple and blend it screened. I duplicate those layer and change the outer glow with turquoise. Then i rotated the layer about 270 degree to make sure the layer doesnt overlap. Next, i made a new layer to make something juz like the nebula, the red things on the picture. On this layer, i filled with 50% gray and i filter it with render and choose Clouds once again. Like always, i blend it screen again. Then, i use Gradient Tool to smoothen the edges of this layer.

Lastly, i just put my own picture there. Maybe it can be looks like the movie poster also. Thats all. Any comments are accepted and the bad comments are consider as taboo, hehe^^. Just kidding, any bad comments also accepted to improve myself in doing this. Pen off...

nervous

hmm...i recently watch 2012 this midnight alone since i've heard this movie so interestings. I just watch it online because no money to buy DVD even the pirate one. If i'm not mistaken this movie was released last year on 13 november. Its kind a late already, but i really interested to watch it since that time i was busy struggling for last spm. What so interesting in that movie is, the CGI is really2 nice and i dream of making it one day. CGI?? It is stand for computer generated imagery. It is application of the field of computer graphics or more known as 3D graphic to make special effects especially in movies. I really likes graphic. Thats why it attract me a lot to watch it..

BUT! What does i means with the topic NERVOUS??
so, i would like to share somethings, from my research this morning. But it was in Malay Language, and I think its okay for my friends to understand.

RENUNGKANLAH BERSAMA-SAMA

this things actually made me really nervous and i cant sleep now. So, i just post this entry hope can share with everyone about this. To those been watching this movie, i believe they also agree with the logical in this movie scientifically. For me, we can believe it. but we only need to set up our faith..

Wallahu' Alam...

diri ini hanya hamba Allah yang hina..

missing her again

Missing someone gets easy when they are away from us. Sometimes, when I think of all the memories I've had, I'm blessed I've known someone so special, it stays forever in my mind and it fits exactly in the size of my small heart.

This evening she's going back to school and she doesnt bring along her handphone. That made missing her so much. If she bring along her phone, surely i can sms or call her. I felt this holiday so short, for us but not for me. Because i still have about 3 months of holiday to wait for spm result come out. I really miss the momment chatting and sms with her especially chatting. This holiday was the first time we chat together with webcam.

The hardest part of missing her is when I know things will never be the same again, there's no longer that sweet smile on the sweet face, a hand to hold and a heart to understand, let alone I can't do anything about it but to move on and forget things behind.

And the most paintful part of missing someone is when all I can think of are the memories she left me. Cause that's the exact moment I will ask myself... "Will those memories ever come back again?"

Its about a year i havent meet her since our last date on the January 2009...really miss her so much...
